Increase Blog Traffic

Writing a Blog is a great way to get traffic to your website. No one wants to aimlessly write blog posts that doesn’t get any traction. I’ve outlined some time tested methods of getting more traffic to your blog posts.

Distribution is Key

Content may be King but, Distribution is the key to the thrown. It’s not enough to just post a new blog your website. How will anyone know that you have new content waiting for them to digest? Are your readers subscribed to your blog? Adding a mailing list subscription form to your blog will keep interested users updated on new posts. Consider leveraging the power of email marketing to increase your blog’s readership. Services such as MailChimp are a great start and easy to integrate and setup.

Social Media

Social Media platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn are all free tools. It costs nothing to simply post content on their sites. The return on investment from social media is huge.

Pinging Services

Pinging services work by updating different search engines that your blog has updated. WordPress for example has this functionality set as default.
